The Environmental Permitting Regulations (England and Wales) came into force in 2010, replacing the 2007 regulations that joined the Pollution prevention and Control (PPC) and Waste Management Licensing (WML) regulations.
Their scope and content has since been widened to include groundwater and water discharge activities, radioactive substances and provision of a number of directives, including the Mining Waste Directive.
We can support clients in the environmental permitting process for waste applications and new industrial facilities, and we can also design and implement monitoring regimes to help compliance with the permit once your facilities are operational.
We can also help with condition discharge for conditions placed on a permit consent.
